La diferencia entre F y AM vs. AF y AM
Los estados F y AM son diferentes de los estados AF y AM . Pero ¿cuáles son las diferencias entre ellos? ¿Qué significan? En este artículo, los explicaremos con más detalle.
AF y AM son para Masones Antiguos Libres y Aceptados .
F y AM son para Masones Libres y Aceptados.
En los Estados Unidos y en la mayor parte del mundo, no importa si te unes a una logia F & AM o a una logia AF & AM.
Cada logia en Estados Unidos está bajo la jurisdicción de una Gran Logia en el estado donde se ubica. No existe una sede central para cada Gran Logia en cada estado. Por lo tanto, la Gran Logia es la misma que la sede de cada jurisdicción estatal.
Todos los masones (F & AM y AF & AM) tienen su historia desde la construcción del templo por el rey Salomón en tiempos bíblicos.
En la década de 1730, la masonería se exportó e introdujo en Norteamérica. Los modernos y los antiguos comenzaron a fundar logias filiales y se organizaron grandes logias en diversas provincias.
Después de la Revolución Americana, se formaron Grandes Logias independientes en cada estado.
Origen de las diferencias entre F y AM vs. AF y AM
Hubo dos Grandes Logias en Inglaterra entre 1751 y 1813. Existía un desacuerdo entre ellas. Un grupo se llamaba los Modernos, que constituía la Gran Logia británica más antigua. El otro grupo se llamaba los Antiguos, también conocidos como los Antiguos, quienes fueron los creadores de la AF y la AM .
El desacuerdo provocó la ruptura de los dos grupos. Cada grupo creó sus propias Logias y Grandes Logias en todo Estados Unidos. En 1880, el desacuerdo se resolvió. Las Logias y las Grandes Logias conservaron sus siglas. Este desacuerdo explica por qué las Logias presentan escasas diferencias en la redacción de sus rituales y en sus Estatutos y procedimientos.
Las Grandes Logias de Estados Unidos se reconocen y se tratan con respeto. Sus miembros son considerados hermanos y masones por igual.
Todas las Grandes Logias de los Estados Unidos son reconocidas por otras Grandes Logias en Escocia, Inglaterra, Tailandia, Irlanda, India y otros países de Europa, África y Sudamérica.
Gran Logia Prince Hall
La Gran Logia Prince Hall no fue reconocida inicialmente por otras Grandes Logias regulares. Las Logias bajo estas Grandes Logias tampoco fueron reconocidas por las demás Grandes Logias.
La Gran Logia Masónica Prince Hall tiene su origen en una logia de masones negros de Boston. La logia fue fundada por un hombre llamado Prince Hall.
La Francmasonería Prince Hall surgió durante la Guerra de la Independencia. Comenzó el 6 de marzo de 1775, cuando Prince Hall y otros 14 negros libres fueron iniciados en la Logia 441 de la Constitución Irlandesa. La Logia estaba ubicada en Fort Independence, en el puerto de Boston. La Logia 441 estaba adscrita al 38.º Regimiento de Infantería del Ejército Británico. Posteriormente, la Logia recibió una carta constitutiva de la Gran Logia de Inglaterra.
Tras la muerte del Príncipe Hall, la Logia dejó de existir. Años después, masones negros fundaron la Gran Logia Masónica del Príncipe Hall. Esta comenzó a otorgar cartas constitutivas a otros hombres negros para que crearan logias subordinadas.
La mayoría de las Grandes Logias de Prince Hall están actualmente afiliadas a las Grandes Logias convencionales. Solo hay un estado con AFM: Carolina del Sur.
FAAM (Masones Libres y Aceptados)
El Distrito de Columbia es un distrito FAAM
Conclusión
Las diferencias entre los masones F & AM y los masones AF & AM, AFM y FAAM son muy pequeñas.
Las principales diferencias residen en los títulos de los oficiales y en las pequeñas diferencias en los textos rituales. Estas diferencias no afectan ni afectan el amor fraternal que los miembros de la fraternidad comparten.
Pero debe tener cuidado al comprar artículos que tengan impresas o grabadas designaciones jurisdiccionales. Estos artículos podrían incluir delantales masónicos , insignias masónicas, joyería masónica , etc.
Algunos de estos artículos pueden tener una designación diferente a la que se usa en su Logia. Es importante conocer la designación de su logia para no pedir artículos con designaciones incorrectas.

I am AF&AM! I am proud to be a traveling man. I now walk this land @ 46 years of age having been both F&AM, now AF&AM. What boils me is the lack of genuine love for each other. The constant bickering is completely what I see and hear sun up to sun down. We all either way are brothers and sisters; I was raised to be non-bias, but; aren’t we all raised to be that way towards each other? How are we to be our model if we can’t love each other, if we can’t care for each other, if we can’t be an olive branch to one another. Please tell me how are we: three letters or four letters going to coexist be a strong pillar in communities and remove the stigma of the world and the media that says Negros will never come together for a cause bigger than themselves? If he and him were still here would we still be separated. How long must it be that one sits on his side and one sits on that side until we realize that for the greater good whether this or that together we are greater together we are stronger together we are powerful how long?

Within the Black American community, that Prince Hall lodges (PHA) are all labeled as “F&AM” and if you see that the PHA lodges are labeled as “AF&AM” then those are the clandestine lodges that have nothing to do with modern day legally chartered Prince Hall Grand Lodges. There was a Mason back in the day by the name of “John G. Jones” that was kicked out of Prince Hall because of unmasonic conduct and instead of going on with his life. He started his own Grand Lodge and started issuing charters with no power to do so. I repeat that his brand of Prince Hall lodges are “CLANDESTINE” and are usually labeled as AF&AM or sometimes instead of PHA they label themselves PHO (Prince Hall Origin). My brothers & fellows, please take this knowledge with you and know the difference before making any unwarranted judgements of Prince Hall Masonry.
